I really enjoyed this book. Very thought-provoking. As an artist it has changed my focus and my message to society.
I work at an indie bookstore, I suggest this book to just about everyone.
I have scoured our store, inventory & read-a-like sites for suggestions...nada
I am seeking a suggestion of something similar to this book....

      What was it about?

How and what would happen to Mother Earth if all of a sudden all human life were to disappear.
For example: how long it would take Central Park to revert back to what it was 300 years ago.
        Very interesting and thought provoking.

The Discovery Channel has done a show about the same thing.

Excellent book, far better than the TV series it inspired.

Lee Ann, that sounds very interesting. Please tell us more. I once learned in biology lessons that it would take only 100 years to turn the world back into a jungle, if people left it alone. Wishful thinking...but one can always dream in order to cheer up a little, looking out the window at the smog, right?
