It's the 11th book in the Reparman Jack series.

Does ANYONE here even read the Repairman Jack series? It's kinda pulpy, but at other times extremely technical. It's like McGyver meets Pulp Fiction meets Lovecraft. It's about a guy who's NOT in any government records who "fixes" situations for people. He's a real scientific, down to earth, nuts and bolts type guy who unwittingly gets dragged into a war between dark forces quite beyond the ken of science to explain. Riveting, page-turning stuff!!!

If that sounds appealing to you, here's a link to the 'site:

Methinx a movie is in the very early stages of casting, using Ryan Reynolds as Repairman Jack.

I really enjoyed the Tomb, and the first couple of sequels... after that it became predictable, and strained at best.

F Paul Wilson is a great read however if you are looking for that shameless brain killer between actually great books.

Agreed. Stellar literature it is not, but if you're looking for pageturnin', bloodchurnin' stuff, Repairman Jack has got your fix!!!

Still, since cinema is generally dumbed down anyway, so mayhap it's the perfect media for this stuff...only time will tell, I guess...

Conspiracies was good. So were a few others. But the ones that get too much science fiction going kind of blow it for me.

        Just too out there.

But Jack is pretty damned cool.
